After more than four decades of dedicated service, Manor Walks Shopping & Leisure is bidding a heartfelt farewell to Deputy Centre Manager Alan Kennedy as he retires this month.

Alan’s remarkable journey began in 1983 when he joined the centre as a part-time security guard. Over the years, through hard work, commitment and exceptional leadership, he progressed through a number of roles including Security Supervisor, Operations Manager and ultimately Deputy Centre Manager.

Across 43 years of continuous service on site, Alan has played an integral role in the day-to-day running, development and success of Manor Walks, becoming a familiar and respected figure to colleagues, retailers and customers alike. His knowledge of the centre, unwavering dedication and calm leadership have made a lasting impact on everyone who has worked alongside him.

From overseeing major operational changes to supporting countless events, developments and milestones, Alan has been at the heart of Manor Walks for generations. His career is a testament to loyalty, professionalism and pride in the local community.
